Police Seek Assistance in Locating a Bank Robbery Suspect

Prince George’s County, Maryland…The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Robbery Unit is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a suspect wanted in connection with a bank robbery in Glenn Dale, Maryland.


On January 6, 2011 at approximately 1:42 p.m., patrol officers responded to a Capital One Bank located in the 10600 block of Greenbelt Road for a call of a bank robbery.  When officers arrived, the victim stated the suspect entered the bank posing as a customer.  The suspect approached a bank teller and passed a note demanding money, to which the victim complied.  The suspect took the money and fled the scene on foot.  The money was found a short distance from the bank after the dye pack had activated.

The suspect was described as a black male, approximately 20 years of age, 5’10” tall, with a slim build.  He was last seen wearing a black ski mask, black jacket, gray hooded sweater, blue jeans, black knit gloves, and black shoes, armed with a black handgun.
