Child Successfully Reconnected With Parents

Prince George’s County, Maryland…The Prince George’s County Police Department has successfully reconnected the parents to the child that was found wandering last night in the 2300 block of Vermont Avenue, Landover.
This morning, around 7 a.m., the parents of Devon Hight, 4, contacted police when they saw their missing son on the morning news. It appears that the parents and family members had a miscommunication regarding Devon’s supervision.
At this time police will not be filing charges in this case and Devon remains in the custody of Child Protective Services as they conduct their own investigation into the matter.
For further information call the Prince George's County Police Department’s Press Information office at (301) 772-4710.
