PGPD to Host the 28th Annual Cora Rice Community Christmas Party for Deserving Children

Prince George's County, Maryland …The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Community Services Division along with numerous community partners will host its 28th Annual Community Christmas Party for deserving children. The 500 children, selected by their teachers and school staff, will attend the party. The Chief of Police, command staff, patrol officers and community volunteers will join the children for a special day of fun-filled entertainment. The children will have an opportunity to take a picture with Santa before leaving with lots of toys and wonderful gifts. This event, which has delighted children for years, is a highlight for those officers who volunteer their time to help create special memories during the holiday season.
