PGPD Arrests Armed Robbery Suspect Linked to Four Robberies in Recent Weeks

Detectives Would Like to Speak to Other Potential Victims

The Prince George’s County Police Department today arrested an armed robbery suspect who is linked to four robberies in Landover since January 15, 2015. The most recent robbery occurred on February 2, 2015. The suspect is 21-year-old Daquan Douglas of the 7700 block of Willow Hill Drive in Landover.

In each of the cases, the victims were walking near Garrett Morgan Boulevard between 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm. Our investigation reveals Douglas approached the victims, pulled out a weapon and demanded their property. None of the victims was hurt. Through the course of the investigation, Douglas was identified as the suspect. A search warrant was executed at his home today. Several pieces of the victims’ property were recovered.

Detectives would like to talk to any other potential victims. It’s believed Douglas may have robbed other victims in the Landover area in recent months. Anyone with information on this suspect or these cases is urged to call our Regional Investigation Division – Central Region at 301-772-4425.
