Chief Magaw's Statement on Kevin Davis' Appointment to Interim BPD Commissioner

On behalf of our department and as his friend, I'd like to publicly congratulate Interim Commissioner of the Baltimore Police Department, Kevin Davis. In Kevin's 20 years with the Prince George's County Police Department, he rose through our ranks from patrol officer to Assistant Chief. He was a valued and respected member of our department with exceptional leadership skills and an appreciation for the importance of community engagement. His credentials and his true devotion to the law enforcement profession and the betterment of it will serve him well in this new challenge.
