WANTED WEDNESDAY

Cell Phone Store Robbery






Our first suspect this week should be seeking redemption. He wore a shirt with the word “redemption” when he committed an armed robbery at an Oxon Hill cell phone store. On Monday, he walked into the store in the 5100 block of Indian Head Highway at about 10:15 am, displayed a gun and demanded cash. No one was hurt in the robbery. Armed Robbery Investigation




Our Robbery Unit detectives want to find and arrest this suspect for a brazen armed robbery at a Landover Hills business. The investigation reveals he walked into the store in the 6500 block of Annapolis Road and demanded cash. A frightened employee complied. The suspect stashed the stolen cash in a red and white checkered bag. Anyone with information on this robbery is asked to call 301-772-4905 or Crime Solvers at 1-866-411-TIPS. Game Store Robbery






These two suspects are wanted in connection with a robbery at a game store in Oxon Hill. This crime happened on July 17th at 10:05 am at the store in the 6200 block of Livingston Road. One of the suspects pulled out a gun and demanded merchandise. The investigation reveals the suspects then fled in a newer-model, silver Ford Escape. Please call 301-772-4905 or Crime Solvers at 1-866-411-TIPS with any information.


Security Guard Homicide Investigation




Our Homicide Unit detectives are actively investigating the fatal shooting of a security guard at a Capitol Heights apartment complex. The victim, 26-year-old Adrian Kinard of Queen Street in Northeast DC, was shot and killed early Friday morning while at work. A second guard was also shot. He survived his injuries. Preliminarily, detectives do not believe this was a random act. Detectives are working to identify a motive and a suspect(s) in this fatal shooting. A reward of up to $25,000 dollars is being offered in connection with this case. Call 1-866-411-TIPS with any information.
